6.1.4.1.2 Minimal information requirements
It is not necessary to receive a completed claim form to determine Immediate Support payments. However, the following information must be obtained before any decision can be made:

Court-appointed trustee | Request the trustee to provide a copy of Administrative Orders from court or VCAT which include the named administrator and their powers. |
Contact a third party
The Agent may be able to verify or request information from an independent source, e.g. the employer about wage details or the funeral director about the burial/cremation account.
